There comes a day or more of them
when we want to eat almost everything that’s sweet, but sugar is not very good for our bodies and we have to be careful about eating too much of it. Especially because nowadays there’s sugar in almost every food we buy. One way to avoid sugar but still eat something very sweet is to make your own raw and vegan chia pudding. It’s sweet, it’s tasty, it fulfils our hunger and among other things it’s also good for our digestion.
What do we need for chia pudding?
- 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 tsp coconut flour
- 1 tsp mesquite or cacao powder
- small handful of cashew nuts
- small handful of cranberries or goji berries
- a pinch of vanilla powder
- 2,5 dcl soya milk
These amounts are enough for two people or for one hungry person. But, hey, feel free to experiment with ingrediends and it’s amounts. All you have to do for this chia pudding to be done is to mix all the ingredients in one cup, stir them a few times so that chia seeds will drink as much milk as possible and leave it for at least one hour. More than one hour is even better.
Before you want to eat it, you can put it in a blender and blend it. That’s how you’ll get a real smooth pudding. If your pudding is very dry, add a bit of milk so the blender will be able to blendt it. On top you can add some fruit like strawberries, blueberries, pieces of apples or peaches or whatever you want. Let your imagination go free or/and wild
This raw and vegan chia pudding is a great snack, dessert or dinner.
Bon appetit!
