The spring is here, temperatures are getting higher and people spend more time outside walking, running, breathing fresh spring air or gardening. Spring is also the right time to walk through meadows and forests to find some spring greens (ex. dandelion, wild garlic, primrose etc.), you can put into your green smoothies or make a delicious salats.
If you are trying to put your bodies back in shape with jogging or other sports, you’ll like our recipe for green spring smoothie. Ingredients in this green smoothie are rich in proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fiber and minerals which will give your body energy and will help you regenerate faster.
What do we need?
3 dl hemp milk*
2 apples
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon yacon powder
one handful of wild greens (dandelion, wild garlic, nettle etc.)
primrose (for smoothie and its decoration)
Put all ingredients into blender (liquids first, harder ingredients last) and in less than a minute (we know you have a good blender
) your green spring smoothie is ready to give you energy and help our body to regenerate.

* How to make hemp milk?
For hemp milk you need a strong blender in which you’ll blend: 3 dl water + half a cup organic shelled hemp seeds + pinch of himalayan salt + 1 tablespoon organic vanilla powder. If you want you can also add agava or yacon sirup or any other organic sweetener.
